Alpha Roberts is the President and Founder of the National Association of Minority Government Contractors (NAMGC). Alpha Roberts earned her Bachelors Degree in Sociology from The University of California at Berkeley. She also obtained her Masters Degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance from
Joanie Barr is currently a Vice President within ManTech International’s Information Systems & Technology, Civilian and Homeland Security Group. Ms. Barr is responsible for senior officer interaction, client relationships, program and project execution, financial performance, and business development. With over 20 years of experience in information technology in roles ranging from software development to quality engineering to management in both the DoD and Civilian Government arenas. Prior to ManTech, Ms. Barr has held several senior executive positions at Software Performance Systems, Inc. (SPS) and McDonald Bradley, Inc. (MBI). She was instrumental to significant growth of SPS from 1997-2006, during which time the company was selected by ComputerWorld as one of the Top 10 Best Places to Work in IT in North America, with special recognition for excellence in Diversity.

Joan Joyce is a Strategic Relationship Management Director in the Federal Civilian Practice of Deloitte Services LP. Ms. Joyce s focus includes establishing and maintaining client relationships, addressing client delivery quality, developing innovative solutions in conjunction with Deloitte clients and business partners and identifying improvements in the delivery of Deloitte’s services. A highlight of Joan’s career involved classroom training for several years to members of the White House’s Office of Administration, White House Communications Agency and East and West Wing staff. Previous experience involved positions as Director of Business Development at IBM where she directed the activity of a multi-billion dollar pipeline and all IBM Federal Business Consulting Services BDMs, Director of Marketing and Sales at Hughes Aircraft, now Raytheon’s Information Technology Civilian Group. Edward Logan a Principal for the North American Public Sector (NPS) Business Unit at Computer Sciences Corporation (CSC), a leading global consulting, systems integration and outsourcing company with more than 90,000 employees in 80 countries worldwide. Mr. Logan has over 15 years of professional experience in developing industry-specific innovative business solutions and strategic project portfolio management programs. Prior to joining CSC, he served as the Practice Manager Infrastructure Management for Project Performance Corporation (PPC) under the System Engineering Infrastructure Solutions Division and as a Deputy Program Manager responsible for managing over a $50 million IT infrastructure and network support contract. In addition, Mr. Logan also worked as a Senior Portfolio Management Consultant for Robbins-Gioia, LLC and was responsible for program management assistance and providing expert advice in the planning, control, and implementation of the Patent E-Gov Program, a multi-year $285 million e-Government initiative that developed an electronic image and text-based patent application processing and workflow automation.

James B. Roy is the Vice President of NAMGC and a founding member of the association. James currently serves as a Risk Management Executive for a local financial institution; he is responsible for the management of the credit, market and operational risks associated with the consumer credit portfolio. In a former role, James was a member of the Senior Management team for a national financial institution, identifying strategic opportunities for the company. He has also served as Vice President for several other financial institutions within the Metro-DC. James recently served as the Community Reinvestment Officer for a local institution in which his focus was developing homeownership opportunities for low to moderate income households, also he has taught numerous financial literacy courses to teens and adults and is a certified Money Smart and VA Home buying counselor.
